Maintain Clear Zones: Avoid sitting, standing, or playing near fall zones to prevent accidents. Ensure the area under climbing walls is clear before beginning your climb.
Respect Climbing Lanes: When on the wall, maintain a safe distance from other climbers. Be mindful of your route and the routes of others to avoid crossing paths or climbing directly above or below another climber.
Watch for Falling Hazards: Always be aware of the potential for falling climbers or dropped equipment. Never climb directly under someone else.
Use Proper Equipment: All climbers must wear appropriate climbing shoes for better grip and to protect the climbing surfaces. Do not wear street shoes on the climbing walls.
Communicate Clearly: Use clear communication with belayers, other climbers, and staff. Call out intentions and be vocal about starts and finishes to keep everyone informed of your movements.
Follow Staff Instructions: Always adhere to the guidance and instructions given by gym staff. They are trained to ensure safety and can provide assistance and advice on climbing techniques and practices.
Queue Courteously: If there are climbers waiting to use a route or piece of equipment, observe a one-attempt rule or discuss sharing the space with courtesy and respect.
Keep Personal Gear Organized: Store your personal belongings, including bags and loose gear, in designated areas to keep the climbing space uncluttered and safe for all users.
